Another Dinner date

Following the success of our first social event of the year arranged by the recently formed Lodge of Dawn Social Committee back in November, the brethren of The Lodge of Dawn returned to Giorgio’s Ristorante Italiano in Headlingley, Leeds for another dinner.

28 brethen were in attendance, following a well-attended, and sometimes chaotic, Lodge of Instruction and Junior Lodge of Instruction, including all three of our most recent initiates, our most recent joining member and, at the other end of the masonic scale, a number of Past Masters and two Grand Officers.

The Head of the Social Committee, W Bro Philip Myers said “yet again we had a great turnout; even more than the previous occasion. The committee is in the process of arranging more social events over the next few months”.

The morning after the event, the lodge WhatsApp group was buzzing with positive feedback from a great night, with a fantastic atmosphere.

Social events, like this one, are one of the key tenets of Freemasonry, and part of the enjoyment. You can read all about our other recent social events here.
