Ladies Night – The March meeting of The Lodge of Dawn featured not only a Second Degree ceremony, but we also warmly welcomed wives and partners to the festive board afterwards in our annual ‘Ladies After Lodge’.
The Second Degree ceremony featured not only the usual (excellently performed) ritual, but also a fascinating explanation of the Second Degree tracing board, delivered by W. Bro Howard Bott.

Whilst in the temple, wives and partners were welcomed by a glass of champagne. Following the meal, Worshipful Master, Frank Rosenhead toasted our esteemed guests and his wife Gilllian delivered a lovely speech on behalf of the wives and partners. The evening was topped off with a game of bingo where, fittingly, both games were won by wives.
Unfortunately no-one took any photos on the night, so instead here’s legendary Kool and the Gang with their classic ‘Ladies Night’.
